The Sky is the Limit

Learn how to navigate the wind, yourself and so much more through our one-of-a-kind adventure powerkiting experience. East Beach, Santa Barbara offers an ideal location to learn this exciting sport and make friends with other flight enthusiasts. This is an experience and a skill you can take wherever there is wind. We stick to the sand, and do not fly up in the air or out on the water.

You can expect to learn:

• How to launch, fly and recover stunt and power kites safely

• Basic and advanced flight patterns

• Team formation flying

• How to navigate the “runway” and be aware of your surroundings

• Mind-body coordination and physical development

• The value of teamwork

Open to kids ages 10 through 17. Kites will be provided. Flight Camp is hosted in partnership with the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department. All part-day summer camps can be viewed here.

The cost is $199/wk for Santa Barbara residents and $219/wk for non-residents. Space is limited.
